Kangana Ranaut Says Jail Advocate Indira Jaising With Rapists, Nirbhaya's Mother Agrees With Her
2012's Delhi gang-rape case of a 23-year-old girl on a moving bus shocked the entire nation. The victim succumbed to the brutal injuries and since then, her mother has been demanding justice. Recently, the Apex Court passed its judgment and awarded the death penalty to all the four accused. There were six out of which one committed suicide and the other was a juvenile. As everyone hailed the Supreme Court's verdict, a lawyer named Indira Jaising stated that the victim's mother should forgive rapists and show some mercy. On this, in a recent press conference, Kangana Ranaut bashed to the lawyer.

While promoting Panga, Kangana Ranaut shared her thoughts and stated that Indira should be locked up in jail with the accused of four days. The actress even went on to say that women like Jaising give birth to monsters. Now, in an interview with News 18, victim's mother Asha Devi has applauded Kangana for standing up for her. Asha Devi was quoted saying, "I fully agree with Kangana, she is right. I am glad that someone has spoken against Indira Jaising and has stood with me." She further added, "Where were these human rights people when such a barbaric crime was committed?” (Also Read: Kangana Ranaut Says She Was Misquoted; Didn't Lash Out At Saif’s 'No Concept Of India Before Britishers’ Statement)

Asha Devi did not find anything wrong in Kangana Ranaut's statement on Indira Jaising. Kangana had said, "That woman should be locked in a jail with those rapists for four days. She needs it. What kind of women are these, who are sympathetic to rapists? Such women given birth to monsters. These women, who are full of love and sympathy for rapists and murderers, are the ones who give birth to them."

Kangana also expressed that the accused should be hanged in public and not quietly. She said, "I don’t think these rapists should be hanged quietly. What is the point of capital punishment, if you cannot set an example? They should be hanged in public."
